To meet customers growing demand for industrial materials, Link-Up Chemicals established a large production plant of Link-Up Chemicals at Tongi, Gazipur. Link-Up Chemicals is the only company in the Black-Oxide manufacturing industry which is holding the ownership of the land of 160 decimal of the production plant.
Link-Up Chemicals produces black iron oxide. Iron oxides are Industrial raw materials [Fe2O3] that provide construction products including tiles, synthetic paint, coatings, concrete, fire match manufacturing, and other distinctive hues. Iron oxide pigment is made from raw materials including mill scale and nitrobenzene. To get the end product, specific reactions between oxygen and iron molecules must take place.
In Bangladesh, there is nearly demand of 650 metric tons for black iron oxide per month. Link-Up Chemicals is holding around 25% of the market share with a manufacturing capacity in an average of a 160 to 170 metric tons per month.
